This course will examine the complex and interdependent relationships between government and business in society. This relationship will be further examined from a theoretical and practical perspective. The interplay of these parties will be analysed in the context of the role and function of each other and how they impact on each other.
Also receiving special attention are contemporary issues, such as the social partnership, the environment and pollution, consumerism, corporate governance, globalisation, mergers and acquisitions and the impact of market forces, the role and impact of multinational corporations and the changing nature of the workplace.
