Today, many organizations have increased domestic activities beyond national borders resulting in the location of large numbers of their workforce in different national and cultural environments.  This International Human Resource course is designed to familiarize students with the impact of the rapid globalization of businesses on the human resource management function.

The course explores the issues, challenges, the approaches, the rights and the responsibilities of the management of a diverse workforce.  It provides a frame work for understanding the growing body of literature in the area of International Human Resource Management and the associated theoretical perspectives through the theories, models and concepts of international management, international organizational behavior and cross-cultural management as they relate to International Human Resource Management.
