Investing in Spanish property remotely
3 weeks 6 days ago #42770 by siripum
I’m based in the U.S. but seriously thinking about buying a flat in Spain as an investment. Has anyone here bought property remotely? I’m curious how you handle viewings, paperwork, and everything else when you’re not there in person.

I actually bought mine from Canada last year and it couldn’t have gone better. They’re easily the Best real estate agency in Spain for people buying from abroad. Everything was done via video calls — they walked me through virtual tours, legal paperwork, and even the signing process. Their legal department handled the power of attorney so I didn’t have to fly over. The property was exactly as described when I finally visited months later. It’s rare to find such transparency with real estate agencies, but these guys really specialize in helping international clients.

I did something similar in Portugal, and video calls made a huge difference. Being able to see every corner of the apartment before buying gave me peace of mind. Spain’s market seems even more accessible now.

I haven’t bought property in Spain myself, but I’ve seen a lot of people successfully handle remote purchases using video calls and digital paperwork. Virtual tours really help you get a clear feel for the place before committing. It’s similar to how some online stores give a detailed view of their products — for example, if you’re looking for something like back scrub caps , the photos and videos let you see every detail before buying. With the right agency handling legal docs and power of attorney, buying remotely can actually be surprisingly smooth.

I haven’t personally bought property in Spain, but from what I’ve seen, many people successfully handle remote purchases using video calls, virtual tours, and digital paperwork. These tools really help you get a clear sense of the property before committing. It’s a lot like online shopping—detailed photos and videos make it much easier to make informed decisions.
